 (Senator Obama, in Pennsylvania, speaking about his daughters) “Punish?” Does he really think that? Maybe we shouldn’t be surprised that Barack Obama thinks of little babies as mere “punishment.” After all, he voted to leave little newborns to die. When Barack Obama was a state senator in Illinois, the issue of leaving newborns to die was hotly debated. According to sworn testimony, a hospital was performing “live birth abortions.” In this coldly calculated procedure, the abortionist gives the woman a drug to induce delivery. A living, wholly intact baby is born. The baby isn’t given to his mother’s waiting arms to thrive and grow. He doesn’t go to a nursery. He doesn’t even receive any comfort care. The baby is put on a cold table and left to die. Barack Obama had the chance to support legislation to ensure that babies who survive abortion are afforded the same legal protections as those who are spontaneously born prematurely. In fact, he had FOUR chances, but he refused to vote in favor of protecting these vulnerable lives all four times. In sharp contrast, Senator John McCain voted in the US Senate for the federal Born Alive Infants Protection Act to require that children born alive receive the same care provided to other premature infants. This treatment of newborn babies was so horrifying that the federal legislation to protect these babies passed unanimously in the US Senate – but that was before Obama came to Washington. Don’t let his smooth rhetoric fool you. Obama IS pro-abortion. His 100% pro-abortion voting record with Planned Parenthood and NARAL proves it. How can we as Americans trust his vision of “hope” for the future, when he is responsible for destroying the real hope for our future – the innocent unborn? Furthermore, in 2009, if we fail to elect a pro-life President to defend these lives, pro-abortion groups plan to use YOUR tax dollars to pay for abortions and international law to try to force every country in the world to legalize abortion-on-demand. This is why we desperately need your help and support to tell every pro-life American we can reach what is really at stake and why millions upon millions of unborn babies will die if Barack Obama is elected President. Together, we can STOP OBAMA!
